Numerology for 08/ 08/ 2026

The ‘Lions Gate Portal’ opens (as it does each year), from 28 July to 12 August and peaks on 8 August.

The number 8 in numerology represents karma, it is the one number that has no end, and on its side represents the symbol for eternity. The number 8 in numerology represents constant movement, as light (or spirit) goes into matter, to re-emerge bringing everything to the surface to be looked at and to be re-evaluated. The 8 represents the strategist and organiser, tirelessly moving back and forth, constantly knocking down and rebuilding. With 8 energy balance between the material and spiritual realms becomes key and we may feel forced into action.

A double 8 represents ‘the masters of karma’ and a generator, bringing everything up to be re-evaluated. This energy can make us feel ‘back at square one’ as it may feel that everything is being brought up to the surface to be looked at and we may feel we have to constantly decide ‘do I take this with me?  do I want to think like this? or do I let this go?’.

This year the mission or ‘Life Path’ resulting from this date = 26/ 8 (8 + 8 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 6 = 26). 26/ 8 in Numerology represents ‘Lord Karma’ and may further accentuate feeling forced into taking action, particularly for the sake of others, as our feelings of responsibility (6) are born of emotion (20).

You may experience powerful energies and it may feel like ‘sink or swim’. It may be key that you watch your temper, remaining adaptable and flexible, with a willingness to co-operate. Your stubborn endurance may be a great strength, but don’t turn this against yourself, take time to listen to others, ideally express love, spirituality and sensitivity. You may feel a great desire to travel, but where you are now will have to be your starting point. Recognise today is a great opportunity to push through with your ideas, especially if you are using your unique qualities and experiences to help others and to serve the planet. Whatever you decide to do, focus on your truth, but don’t get stuck and don’t give up. Ease up a bit on the expectations you place on others and be kind to yourself.

This portal is a wonderful opportunity to pause, reflect, re-evaluate and find clarity, before setting your intentions and taking action, (these are all qualities of the 8). Ideally focus on releasing all that no longer serves you, making room for new growth, taking purpose-driven actions that aligns with your personal transformation, ideally dedicating your actions to the highest good. Try at this time, to focus on outcomes, not fears and doubts.

If you are currently feeling overwhelmed, you may be interested to know that 2025 is a significant year of powerful energies. Multiple significant dates this year include ‘The Lions Gate Portal’ from 28/07/2025 to 12/08/2025 (peaking 08/08/2025) and ‘Nostradamus’s Final Cipher’ with a potential date of 13/08/2025.
The ’Perfect Square Year’

This year is a ‘Perfect Square Year’, the result of squaring 45 (45 x 45 = 2025). In numerology, the ‘45/ 9’ represents a potential turning point, where the higher mind (5) may be born of the existing structure (40), and potential wisdom can be gained through the understanding of the human condition. The 25 (in the year 2025) further emphasises this understanding, as ‘25/ 7’ represents the birth (20) of the higher mind (5), and the birth of consciousness which is achieved by listening to our inner guidance (7). The number 45 results in the number 9 (4 + 5 = 9), which is characterised by selfless generosity.

The number 9 accumulates all the knowledge and experiences gained from the previous cycle of 8. The job of the 9 is to offer the benefit of this experience and wisdom to those around it. The 9 then returns to the potential (or zero) so a new cycle can begin, moving from focus on the self to potentially helping humanity.

The Inner Work and Challenge for this year is also a 9 (2 + 0 + 2 + 5 = 9). This means that the potential for reflection and introspection may also apply on a personal level, which could result in collective awakening and broader alignment with universal goals.

The 9 represents the end of a cycle and is an opportunity to reflect and learn from all that has been experienced in the previous 8 years (from 2017 to 2024). This 9 year is poised between endings and beginnings, on the edge of rebirth, and before the beginning of a new cycle (2 + 0 + 2 + 6 = 10/ 1). The 9 needs to ensure all the experiences gained are recognised and used, before returning to the potential (or zero), so the new cycle can begin.

The ’Perfect Square Year’ is a relatively rare occurrence, with the last perfect square year being 1936 (44 x 44 = 1936) and the next one not occurring until 2116 (46 x 46 = 2116).
